Set your laptop to 10.5.55.200 and attempt to ping all fueling points
(Standard Gilbarco protocol is 10.5.55.71 for fueling point 1 and each fueling point will increment up one address)
If the ping is successful, try to open a telnet session to port 4871 (All Gilbarco payment terminals running EMV will expose port 4871 to the POS)
If the telnet session is unsuccessful, then connect your laptop to the local network in the dispenser (if running DCIM 2 with SSOM)
Set the IP address of your laptop to 172.16.100.200 and verify that you can ping 172.16.100.1 -A side UPM and 172.16.100.3 -B side UPM
If you can ping 172.16.100.1, attempt to telnet to that address on port 4871
If the unit will not open a telnet session, please enable TCP mode on the UPM
If telnet session is successfully established, the UPM is configured correctly but the SSOM is not
If SSOM is not configured properly, please check the following:
HomePort jumper should be removed
HomePort box should be checked in SSOM web interface
Verify that correct IP addresses are set for the UPMs in the SSOM web interface
SSOM must be restarted using the “restart" button on the web interface. Otherwise, the configuration will not be applied
Settings will appear correct but will not apply until the SSOM is restarted using the button on the web interface
